I wish to remove the interior door emblem and there appear to be two rear clips that hold the emblem to the door panel. I can reach my arm into the door panel to be able to touch the clips but not able to move in any direction to remove the emblem.
Anybody know how this emblem removes from the door panel.

If you can remove the door panel from the door, be very careful as the board is weak from age, you should be able to bend the clips with a tool and then remove the emblem.

Appreciate the advice. I was able to remove the emblems. You are correct 60+ year old door panels show their age once removed. Not only are some clips missing but the holding slots also torn. After a good cleaning, Kinser primer which will cover most anything, fiber glassing the board where torn, a top paint coat and boards almost looks as good as new.

This was my wifes dads car a 64 valiant convertible that has been in the family for 25 years. I had got a wild hair and took on as a project. This turned out to be a project many times greater than I realized. Fortunately I believe I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Its to the point where its finally ready for a new paint job and then new convertible top. After that I am just going to relax and enjoy the car.
