doing this to my turbocharger https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=REJzNx-Qt2Y trying to figure out what to use for the shaft and the door that wont melt and destroy the turbo. trying to figure out something to use as a bushing for the shaft as well. im looking at melting points of various metals and looked up the exhaust temps. just wanna double check that im not putting something together that is gonna melt right away or at all. from what i can tell the exhaust temp is aorund 1050*c. i have some 1/8" plate steel for the door and was going to use an old exhaust valve for the shaft.
