Anyone know of any currently available source for reproduction cargo window rubber seals for my wagon? These rubber seals would be applicable to Dart and Valiant wagons 1963 through 1966.

Haven't researched thoroughly yet, just noticed today the window seals on my Dart wagon are in very poor condition. The rubber has shrunk dramatically at the corners and I've got big gaps. I would like to remedy this.

In the absence of any available reproduction window seals, what do people do? Do window and glass shops cut and seal straight rubber of the right profile (if you can find it) to fit a window? I have to imagine this is commonly done for vintage cars that need restoration with no reproduction window seals available.

Check out: pentastarparts.com.au

Rear side glass seal set AP5/AP6/VC (WAGON)

$576.00 Sold in matched set L/R with locking strips.

I used straight strip seals from, JC Whitney. That I was just barely able make work on my 63 Valiant. So I am interested in these also, Need to contact Company to verify fit and exchange rate.

Thanks for the replies. I had heard of these seals but last I looked, they were out of stock. Looks like they're available again for a nice tidy sum $$$. Probably worth it to get an exact fit. When I order a set and have them installed, I'll post a review for people to see.

I bought these like 7-8 years ago from Andy Bernbaun's web site, oldmoparts.com. Worth a shot.

To put any hearsay about these seals to rest, they do in fact exist, they can be bought online, and the construction and fit of the seal looks stock. Make sure to save your original corner angle clips to re-use with the new lockstrip. The company makes them to order and it takes 6-8 weeks to receive them. They are expensive but they look worth it. Will post a photo when I have them installed.

The new plasti-chrome lockstrip roll supplied with the seals looks to be the same "domed" strip as supplied when you order a new front windshield seal. Apparently the "flat" chrome lockstrip all these seals came with is no longer made.
