Car Model: 1973 Dodge Dart
Hi everyone I was hoping someone could help answer some questions. I have a 225 six that gives trouble at night. When the headlights are on the car idles at 100 and then shuts off without warning. Then I cant turn the car back on unless I turn the headlights off first and then crank. It has no significant upgrades it has the 40 amp ALT. This isnt even driving it further then 10 miles.

Also another big issue is when I drive the car it seems to choke up on gas. Im pressing the pedal down and it jolts forward and the car feels like it wants to shut off. I floor it and it comes back alive. Ive lashed the valves on 3 separate occasions to dial them in.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks guys
