Spelling (and punctuation) saves lives!

I'll be more careful how I ask the question next time.

It sounds like I won't regret getting a HD winch.

Grammar and punctuation save lives indeed."Let's eat, Grandma!"
"Let's eat Grandma!"

Personally, I don't carp too much over typos and spelling & grammar mistakes. Without'em, much of the humor (and human) in life'd be missing. :D

ps. When loading the 'Brick on its trailer, my wench "handles" my winch. 8)

I told my wench about this thread and she thought it was funny. She offered to buy me a winch, just in case...

......when I used to mud race,..

We towed dead race trucks onto the trailer....because the endless mud wreaked havoc on cables, clutches and gears.....
....we would tow them on using a skidder ...with a real hydraulic winch and 3/4 to 1" cable .....fast fast at the end of the race load all dead trucks in 20 minutes.

....at least you don't need a ramp to load or unload....when the truck is running.

Just a FYI. Yesterday, I had to recover my 88 Diplomat (fuel pump failure). My cheap Harbor Freight winch, loaded the car on my trailer, with no problem, at all. Used it in double line. In my opinion, for occasional/emergency use, it is well worth the money. If you need a winch for regular heavy use, I would upgrade to a bigger unit.
