I have a cherry picker to pull my motor but someone had a picture and deminisions of a homebuilt arm that hangs from cherry picker with chains to hook up motor. If possible i would like to get a picture and deminisions so my son in law can make me one. I dont know how to weld. Thanks for any help

You don't really need it. About 2' of 3/8" chain and bolts with washers that will thread into the top of the head near the valve cover will do the job
and save the length... if you have a normal 2 ton cherry picker, that leveler won't leave enough room to get a slant six and transmission out of the
engine bay with the front tires on the ground.

At the 3/4 ton setting you have lots of lift..............

I used the above H. F.THIS Just drop the front wheels back on the ground once engine and trans are freely hanging, and it will come right up and out over radiator support.

One tip on using that H F load leveler first time, slather some grease (not white stuff) on screw and all contact points that must slide, and life will be good under the hood.

I've got a lift plate that Mike gave me. He and Blaine built it. I used it to put the motor in the car and ut worked ok.

I have a couple sling chains I like. I think I got them from Summit.

I have had much success using a piece of chain and 2 3/8" bolts too.
