Is there any way to realign the gear/shift display in a column shifter? This one's so out of whack that when in neutral it says it's in reverse.

1)Place gearshift in Park
2)Loosen Swivel assy clamp screw a few turns
3)Move the transmission control lever all the way to the rear (park detent)
4)with the gear shift in park and trans lever in park detent tighten the swivel clamp screw

From Chilton's instructions it sounds easy.

Cool, I'll give that a try. The thing's so far off that the NSS won't even let me start the engine now (or course it happens when I do all that electrical work)
