Sounds like an awesome weekend!! :D

I'm out of the office for a legal hearing all week, but I will do my best to update the Championship thread in the next day or so.

I just got home about 9PM. Thanks to Rick and Kathy Covalt for doing all the work to make this our premier event. Great weather and turnout this year and Will's historic run will always make this one of the most memorable Slant 6 races. I drove 7 hours on Sunday and got up early today and was on west side of Indianapolis by 6:30 CDT would have been home much earlier but heavy rain in Wisconsin and lack of tread on my front tires required a lot of time outs and slow going but I got it back to the garage okay. I wish I could get to every Mason Dixon slant six race. Thanks to Greg too for all those good pictures.

There are a lot of Slant 6 photos on the tracks web site if anyone is interested. Go to the May gallery. They start on page 66

Rick

Glad everyone made it home safe and sound!

Wills car should make a magazine somewhere for sure! It is a work of art and the Fastest Slant 6 in the country!  Anyone know an editor!

I just got off the phone with Will and he is still sky high. I know a lot of folks who were there at the race and it does my heart good to hear of the great event and all the slant six action. My hat is off to all the racers, families and fans for letting us enjoy your time living the dream! Keep up the good work and perhaps this will get some more of the closet slant six racers out of our pits and onto the track! Congratulations to all and to Mr. Burns, you are the MAN!

What a great event.
It had it all, large car count, new race winners, fantastic 9.62 pass by an seasoned slant 6 racer, great photos and Seymour even showed up.
Congratulations to Rick and the crew!

Mark, We'd love to have your Lancer and the rail at Mason Dixon! Is there any way we can hook a cable to your state and drag it 500 miles closer to Md!

Rick
