7 cars today, with a final round coming down to Ron Hamby and Greg Ondayko. Both cars were running high 11's! The win went to Ron in a nail biter. I believe Greg broke out by .002 of a second.

Congrats to everyone!

Rick

PS. We are parked as far back in the pits as you can go. See you in the morning!

Congrats Ron, Ron, and Andrew.

I had a blast With the Crowd, Seeing Dave and Kids with the 72 cuda and 80 Volare. As well as Making a few rounds in Pro.

Finding a New Park to camp at as well as A new Mom and Pop Diner that is not crowded and unassuming with good breakfast and ice cream and Fish apparently. Also got some joy riding in the blue 68 Tart..

That's a Turbo Dart.

We had a great time! Had a blast seeing folks and the cars!

We scored some major buys at the parts swap meet --- a windows crank handle for the Volare and a new Cuda key chain. LOL

We shot some video of the races -- if it turns out, will post.

We also placed in the car show.....the Volare and Cuda took second.

Thanks for the hospitality guys!

Will plan for this one for next year. :D :D :D :D

Rick, how did your car run with the new engine?

Oh yeah, congrats to Dave and son on their car show results!

Congrats to Rick for running deep into the 13s on his last pass (13.40 at 96?). It's the little things... Lots more tuning to do there. I'm sure a 12 sec passes are in the cards.

Thanks guys! Yes Seymour the car had only one good run and it was the last one on Sunday when I did my red-light Ricky routine -.003. But I ran it out to a 13.40 @ 97. I will post more over on the cars virtual dragstrip page about the issues it had, but it was a throttle cable issue.

Special thanks especially to Lou and Ron who stepped in and gave me a hand to get it sort of fixed for the third Rd. We have some really great folks in our group. They even step in and help dummies like me!

Derek Gordon posted all the runs on youtube. Just search "Mopar Mason Dixon slant 6" and they should come up.
