A Fox body does have a really decent stock suspension under it.

Steve Adams and I are going to leave this morning. We got lucky and had no damage from the hurricane, and no power outage. However it did disrupt prep time. I had another truck arranged, but that fell through, when we thought we wouldn't make it. I am using my 88 D-150, which had an overheating problem last time I towed with it. Did some work on it, but haven't tested it with towing. Also about 9 MPG, and almost 800 miles to Clay City. Should be on the road about 7:00 am, and will meet Steve at the first rest stop in Ga. Weather report looks good.

Bobby Rogers just posted that all cars must be Mopar bodied and Mopar powered.

Glad we didn’t plan on bringin’ them Slantstangs to this!

Does anyone coming to Clay City have a good voltage regulator and perhaps the wire connector to it?

Norm is installing a charging system on his Dart. I looked in my junk, but came up short.

I have a new alternator that has a internal regulator that I'm bringing along.(My spare) Has to have one wire run to it besides the battery wire. They are about $50 from DB electric. If it will help him he is welcome to it. I will look for a Mopar one before I leave too.

I am leaving about 6:30 in the morning.

Rob are you referring to the 70 and up style regulator?

Sorry I don't have the factory style plug or VR. Advance auto usually has the newer style in stock.

He is trying to use another type, but not sure it will work. The one I am currently using in the Duster is the later style I believe. I thought I had a spare connector and regulator, but I couldn’t find them.

I plan to upgrade to the kind of alternator Rick uses at some point. Just not there yet. So I can’t give my stuff to Norm yet.
