Four months ago I sent $277 to Sunman Classic Ford Supply (www.sunmanford.net) in Oklahoma for Valiant parts advertised on their website. As of today I have not recieved the parts

I have not been able to contact Sunman Classic Ford Supply after many phone calls and emails. Even my colleagues in the area have not been able to contact the business.

As I paid using Paypal I have also informed them of the situation.

So beware in doing business with this mob.

ditto-- I also found their quaint spot & it took quite some time-- but the items did arrive-- would avoid them or pick them up in person in Oklahoma. (I also paid promptly with paypal-- filed a complaint-- & the vendor shipped 1/2 the order) Dakight knows of the time frame as he was waiting to see the parts also, Lawrence

Yep. I didn't know where they were coming from but I had given up on ever seeing them but they finally did arrive.

reasonable response......... but Sunman Ford were selling parts from a '61 Valiant that were hard to come by from other sources.

Even if I were after FORD parts I would not deal with Sunman Ford - EVER! There is no customer service AFTER they have your money.

By the way - can you give me a Ford website address as I want to leave a similar warning about dealing with Sunman Ford.

Today I received parts from Sunman Classic Ford Supply since my payment last September 2006.

I would like to thank Paypal for contacting Sunman Classic Ford Supply. Without their help I would still be waiting for my parts.

I am curious, as to why a new members 1st post is in rebuttal to a 2 year old thread warning about a vendor. Especially since he is obviously a Ford person, and is posting on a Mopar site. My thoughts are "buyer beware". If I am wrong, great, and I apologize.

In June 2009 my dad paid $165 up front through PayPal for Ford parts and he still has not received the parts. He has called and emailed them multiple times without any response. He filed a claim through PayPal but they did not have any money in their account so he could not get reimbursed but PayPal did shut down their account. He then called the Seminole PD and the officer he talked to told him to email them and let him know he talked to them. He did and within 24 hours received an email from Cynthia stating that she promises the check will be in the mail Friday. She claims they don't have any money and times have been tight. My opinion is if you are short on money then you would probably want to actually ship those parts out so you can continue to make money. Sounds logical to me... We'll see if the money shows... BUYER BEWARE!!!

Just an update - The check never arrived and he hasn't heard anything from them. Think I'll contact Cynthia myself and see what kind of trouble I can stir up for the lying thief.

I know that this is an old thread, but for those with similar problems, filing a complaint with the District Attorney's office in their county can sometimes get it handled (I have done this a few times).
