Does it again!

Got my #549 grind for my next hi-po build...

I gave them a core and 24 used lifters to regrind...

$162 delivered to my door...I don't think you can get a new set of lifters for less than $7 a lifter these days. :D

Next time I visit I'll have to talk to them about the cost of a limited run of ductile iron cores vs. billet cores, since they are interested in the direction we have gone for cam technology....

Sounds good, DI! I have ordered 2 cams from them so far and very happy with them. Haven't used either, but soon...

Cam core deal sounds interesting...

Sorry 'bout Ed, brain fart...

BTW, 16 lifters for $3.44 each, is not a bad price. The supplier will maybe accept an offer for as low as $3.00 each, and with free shipping, that's a very good price.

They will accept $3.00 ea thru e-bay.
I called them and made a deal for 48 lifters at 2.75 ea, with free shipping.

Nice, I got 18 lifters, same brand, $3.20 each, free shipping, from another eBay source earlier this year.

FYI,

Visited them again last week and dropped off a core and a box of misc. lifters, called this morning that they shipped them out (maybe see them next week given the holidays).

That was fast turn over. They also told me to say thanks to the slant six community they do like working with us and helping with our needs!

Yeah, I sent them 6 cam cores and 50 lifters a few months back and had the whole mess back and ground in 2-3 weeks.

Best, Lou
