Are brake shoes that have been contaminated with brake fluid "done for?" The reason I ask is, the shoes still have a lot of lining on them, but a nasty little wheel cylinder has contaminated them with brake fluid. Any way to clean them up..or do I just throw them out?

It's really a judgement call, but if they haven't been soaked for an extended period of time you can spray them with brake cleaner. If they have been soaked for a long time, the lining may start breaking apart.

Fact is that brake shoes are pretty cheap.
The cost of a can of brake clean and your time cleaning-off the oiled shoes my be better spent by putting a fresh pair of brake shoes onto the car.
As Dennis said, it's a judgement call.
