The '71 procedure is fine (and I agree: preferable)

OK, after I adjusted wheel bearings to 1971 FSM specs, I bolted everything back together, and if I grab the top and bottom of the tire I can move it about 1/32". There is NO click-click noise when I do it. All bearings and races look new with no discernible wear and I cleaned and repacked bearings. Is this amount of play normal ?
