Bellybuttons?

I have also been driving in this hilly town for over 20 years with zero brake related incidents.

OE small bolt pattern wheels have a center hole too small to fit over the hub of the late disc brakes.

Xactly, one would have to pop the studs, and lathe the hub OD down, &
I'm not sure how much thinner the outer brg. support will be then.

I'm going with the OEM disc brakes from Rock Auto with new upper and lower ball joints while I'm at it. It should be a vast improvement over the stock drums I'm thinking. My only worry is the re-man calipers. Fingers crossed they don't leak.

So I'm planning a front disc swap on my 63 Dart. After reading this thread in it's entirety, I was wondering if you guys could chime in on my plan. I'd like to get this spindle from dr.diff:

use this rotor combination:

http://www.doctordiff.com/11.75-rotors- ... lated.html

With this adaptor kit (I have 2002 viper calipers from a previous project I never installed:

I'm guess I'll need to upgrade my upper control arms as well, which isn't a problem, as I was planning to do that anyways. Please advise as this is the first time I've ever had to work on any pre 80's Mopar suspensions.

Looks like the Dr. Diff adapters for the Viper calipers will fit drum knuckles, but you are buying disc knuckles from Dr. Diff. On paper, this will not work, but maybe Cass (Dr. Diff) has some modification?? Best to ask him in real time on the phone. 11.75" rotors with Viper calipers will give you great stopping power if it all bolts up.
