The wheels are 16.5" and 8 lug. I have a nice set of tires now but: 1) No spare 2) Hard to find tires 3) tires I have are so skinny my son calls it the "stuck truck" cuz it gets stuck all the time Thoughts on a modern 8 lug with a 15" or 16" (17"?) so I can get tires? sb |

15 might be too small to clear brake rotor. What equivalent diameter tires (and load rating) are available in 16 and 17 ? If sizes are available in 16 and 17, which tire is cheaper? |

The standard around here is 265/65/16E We use Nitto Dura Grapplers in summer.... Mud grapplers in spring and fall. For winter use 235/75/16 cheapo winters. Or if feeling flush Nokkian WRG somethings. |

It is a single rear rear. The tires on it now have a ridiculous load rating...look similar to tires on a school bus and have "regroovable" molded into the side. Real good on pavement and handle loads well, but when replacement time comes around I think some 16s will go on IF wheels can be found, sb |

The chrome steel wheels used on the Ram 2500s should fit, but will set the tire inboard a bit. I did this on my '93 D250 and it worked fine. Hummer wheels are also popular with 1st Gen Ram Cummins guys. Do Not go for the 16" aluminum Ram wheels as the thicker rim section will not clear the rear brake drum. Made that mistake on my B300. |

Check craigslist for factory take offs. I bought a set of wheels and tires from a 2013 Ram 2500 for my 1985 D250. The tires are Firestone Transforce 265-70-17 and looked new. I had to buy 1 1/2" spacers to make them fit correctly. They look very nice on the truck and perform well. |

Go to your junkyard and get ford or Mopar say 88-89 8 Lug 16 X 6 of 16 X 7's or Just buy these - they should have the Lip for accepting the Mopar Hubcap should you choose to use one and it will clear your brakes. https://www.ebay.com/itm/New-16x7-Inch- ... 1438.l2649 Greg |

16.5" tires are dinosaurs, I am in the process of replacing them on my 85 dually. 16" and 17" tires are more common. 16 and 17s can be had in almost any width and diameter. 17" tires are fairly standard on new trucks, therefor more common. I can't think of any new trucks that come with 16s in the last several years. Your used tire selection would be much better in 17, should that matter to you. |

However, these are wearing really well. I don't know that I will ever drive the truck enough to wear them out. Eventually age will get them and a decision will have to be made. Probably will do something like in Greg's post. sb |

I just finished the install of 6 16" junkyard wheels on my dually. Got all 6 wheels and 225-75-16 load range E tires for $360 for the set. The tires are smaller than wanted, but the price was right. I will eventually upgrade to 235-85-16 to try to tame the 4.56 gear a bit. |

I don't know what wheel a single wheel D350 has but the dual wheel D350 used a lug centric wheel, not a hub centric. Some wheels mentioned may or may not work. |
