I managed to somehow recycle/throw out the parking brake levers for my 8 3/4 drum brakes, rear end originally was a pickup rear end I narrowed for my 69 valiant. If I get one from salvage yard how year/model specific will it need to be?

Thanks

I wouldn't think the park lever would really matter much except for the brake diameter. You likely can use one from any Mopar rear end as long as the brake diameter was the same.
Jus' sayin'

Depth and generation has some things to throw a wrench on this as well... 1973+ 10" rear drum brakes are compatible between platforms... but there is a slight difference
in the arms and levers for the earlier versions... also not all Mopar Platforms are cross compatible - i.e. 90's Jeeps and some Dakota's have 9" rear drums...
but again the "guts" are different and are not 'part for part' compatible with a 1970's A-body rear brake assembly...

Rear end was out of a pickup, think mid 70's? I found what looks to be correct parts off of seventies pickup in wrecking yard today. Hope we have a match!

Thanks
