I have the 10 X 2.5" brakes on the back of the race car and I was wondering if anyone knows where to get a Metallic or semi metallic set of brake shoes in that size? All I see on Rock Auto is organic. Also looked under 85 truck listing to see if I could find something there and still no luck. Thanks for any help.

Well, Firm Feel has them for $85 a set.

I haven't really looked, other than a quick Google search.

I just searched Summit and they have 1 set listed for an 85 Truck in 10 X 2.5" from Power Stop Auto Specialty Brakes for $18.99 Now I just need to verify 100% that that is the size I have. They came off of my truck when I swapped the bigger 11" brakes on to it in the Spring. I just can't remember for sure.

Thanks for the help!

My Belvedere has 10 x 2.5" rear brakes. They are brake # 169 and this number fits most 60- 70 Mopars.
My 79 Volare also had the same size brakes and used the brake # 445. I think the biggest difference between the two is how the emergency brake hardware connects.

Are they bonded or riveted? (is there any riveted shoes anymore?)

It's possible to DIY riveted...…………...

Great info guys. Brake Performance even had semi-metallic shoes for my ancient 9".
