Ok, I'm new here (thanks for the add), but I couldn't find anything posted on the question I have about my slant. I have a '67 D100 with a 225. According to my VIN tag it has 127HP at 3900RPM. All of the information I find on the '67 225 states that it produces 145Hp.
I did find an old post on this forum that mentioned an industrial 225 that produced 127hp. Is it possible that this was built with an industrial version for some reason?? Or am I just misinformed on the the 225hp ratings for 1967?

Thanks in advance for any info you may have!

That "145 hp" rating was always fictional. 127 hp is a whole lot closer to the mark, as confirmed by a 3rd-party (GM, actually) test of a 225 Slant-6. Read this thread.
