A Factory Service Manual for an 82 D150 has the schematics, hose routing and other trouble shooting info on Lean Burn systems.
there is one on Ebay right now for $37.00

However no new replacement part are available, and used parts would likely have the same fail modes that you are working through.

The easiest and best fix is to get a 4 pin HEI module, an electronic slant six distributor with a vacuum can and do the HEI install.

With the HEI swap, you will have better performance and if something does fail , replacement parts are readily available.

Even if you do the HEI swap, the FSM is handy to have. The 37.00 is a reasonable price.

A FSM is a handy thing to have. I toyed with the idea of fixing the lean burn (I'll guarantee all your capacitors are dead and the resistors have changed value) but I decided it wasn't worth the time and effort on something that might work. The HEI definitely works and takes very little time to swap over compared to tinkering with the lean burn.

just finished the HEI conversion on my 82 W150. Worth the effort to do. Totally different beast!

I did the HEI conversion on my '84 W100 and I agree with others that it is well worth the effort. Pulls my truck with 3.55 gears and 33-12.5R-15 tires much better.

Yup, HEI upgrade.
