I ordered a set of forged pistons that already had rods fitted to them. 2205554 stamped on them. Can anyone tell me if these are for a cast or forged crank.

You can measure the big end width. It is around 1 1/8" for a forged crank and 0.9" for a cast crank. Sorry I do not remember the exact specs.

2205554 is the forged crank 225 connecting rod. (6.7 inches center to center)

There is a nice Slant 6 Parts List in the articles section on the main page. It doesn't appear to be accessible at the moment though. I remember the connecting rod part numbers all being listed.
