I'm having troubles with a leak at the banjo inlet on my holley 390. I did a gasket, needle valves, adjusted floats, power valve, a basic overhaul due to a leak at the secondary bowl at the feed tube. That leak is gone but now I cannot get the inlet to quit leaking. The steel/rubber pieces weren't thick enough to seal it and ive tried an oil pan copper washer with no luck in fact it was worse. Any ideas?? like to get my car to run longer than 3-4 seconds. I'm open to using a barb fitting but don't see one that would work. Thanks for any help/advice.

Something is wrong with the assembly if the standard gasket/washers didn't work.

You will probably need a new banjo fitting and screw...if you don't want a new one, they are standard
on all other Holley 4150/60's and most 2300 2 barrels...

Took the fitting off a spare 600 and it worked perfect with the new gaskets. Now if I could just figure a way to turn the carb 90* on the Clifford intake...

If you "elongate" the mounting holes in the Clifford adapter plate, you can rotate it 90 degrees.

I thought some cliffords were a square pattern and could just be rotated.

My Holley 2bbl is mounted with the shaft parallel to the crank-shaft on a Clifford intake. The Clifford 2bbl adapter to the intake bolt pattern does look square, but I never measured it because it worked how I thought it should be set-up.
