Put headers, 2bbl intake, and a carter BBD on my son’s 67 Dart. Bought electric choke kit CU 1320 from Mikes Carb parts and installed it. The way I mounted it I needed to remove vacuum pull off. Is the pull off supposed to stay on with an electric choke. At first I thought it wasn’t, but now I think it should be on. Thoughts?

Yes, you have to have the vacuum pull-off. If you were forced to remove it, something's mounted (very) incorrectly.

A picture or three of the choke you bought and installed would be very helpful. All choke thermostats for the slant six that I am aware of mount on the stock exhaust manifold location for the choke thermostat. Headers won't have this mount unless you fabricate something.
