On the ignition coil where is the condenser wire supposed to be

The little capacitor that is mounted on the coil is not the condenser. It is the noise suppressor for the AM radio. Leave it disconnected for now. I THINK it attaches to the - terminal , but if you connect it to the wrong terminal you can ground the coil and not have spark. Just leave it detached.

So today I'm getting the bolt for the harmonic balancer but idk if it the right thread that I found on a forum. It was 3/4-16,2"1/4 long

Which size is better 2 or 2 1/2 long cause that all the hardware store has? I want a bolt cause its way easier than bumping it.
Parts store has 3/4-16,2 and 3/4-16,2 1/2
But they have the washer 2" any ideas

Go for the 2 inch. An extra 1/2 inch might not fit and it won't give you any benefit over the 2 inch.

A thick washer should be used to sprea the load of the bolt.
