Howdy all. I'm looking to make my leaning tower of power the meanest sounding on the street. I'm willing to buy lifters, pushrods and rocker shaft/arms too. I just want this thing to sound intimidating! Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks!

If You get an aggressive cam, the 1st thing on Your shopping list should be a loose converter,...not cheap but get one(call the co.)

Here is the OCG 34 grind as Ceej stated.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P4Itrk02xVY

Sounds nasty at idle and makes not a lot of torque. The head will be coming off so I can get the compression up where it needs to be. Since this is a stock stroke engine I should be able to make use of the upper end once compression is sorted.

I'm also very limited due to my PB A904 since no one really makes converters for them, and I'd be looking for about a 2800 stall.

Call Superior Torque Converter 503 238 0448 They are in Clackamas

Just had them do another converter for the 36 Valiant.....

Had much better luck with them then A-1 in Vancouver and they were much cheaper.

All the places I've chatted with so far won't/can't do the small nose converter; not sure why.

I'll check on the place in Clackamas; if they can do the early small nose converter that would be a big help.

Call Andre at Edge Racing Converters https://www.edgeracingconverters.com/
He has made them in the past, and even made me a couple of small pilot, large spline converters.
