I bought a set of 6 assorted springs on Amazon and just messed with it till I found one that fit the needs on my Volare.

Hi Greg, I hate to be a pain but were you able to measure your spring? Thanks.

17 X 8's at +52 Offset with a 69 B body rear, I am sure with the proper "A" or "FJM" Body Rear end and proper offset you can fit 17 X 9's without cutting.... Bigger than that then you are into mini tub territory.

My + 52 MM 17X 8's ave about an inch clearance to the centerline of the car's body, but Do rub the outer wheel house in full compression.

upon inspection I think my spring was broke and butchered and cobbled sometime before I owned the car.. but it still works properly as is.
