Man, sounds great. Congrats, Dennis! A legendary car for sure. Time to have more fun with it!

Thanks Lou! Yes, I truly believe this is one of the Top 5 important cars in the Slant world. I know that's not important to many people, but it is to a few of us. :D

Ron, good to hear from you. Hope all is well with you. :D

Clay City is the plan Rick. I'm already ahead of schedule, hope that trend continues. :D

Good to hear it is a done deal. You are right it is an important car and famous.
I can't remember what the back end looks like, when you get the car to your place could you post a photo of tail end. I can remember what the front end looks like from looking in the mirror of the Lancer but not the tail end from looking forward.
I have raced the "Buzzin" many times and it was always a good race, with me coming up second more than winning.
You might as well get it running and bring it to Mo-Kan in April.

Mark

I wish I could promise that Mark, but I don't think we will go get it until late March IF the weather co-operates.

Going to get the car the weekend before Easter. Put in for the time last week, it has been approved.

Keith texted me today, trans is done. Picking it up next weekend. Got a Jeffrey motor on the stand waiting too.

It's on like Donkey Kong!

Lets see; With a motor on the stand and a transmission in hand, you should be ready to race in about 4 good hours!! :D :D

I like how Rick thinks. The Slant 6 Spring Nationals is April 14th, two weeks after Easter. You get every other weekend off from work, sounds like you could make the race with ease.
