Norm,

Several of us will be camping there. Pretty nice place for it, as long as the generators don't run all night.

See you soon!
Lou

If I tow my car up there, I'll stay two days. If I have to drive it, I won't have room for supplies and I'll have to play it by ear. I could rent a trailer but I would prefer to buy one. That may have to wait until I find the right deal.
I will be there even if I have to push it.

Finally, forward progress on the race motor.
Got the crank in today, pistons and cam go in tomorrow.

No pics, but the basic short block is done. Pistons, crank, cam, timing gears are in and degreed in. Waiting to get the head back from the machine shop. Still need to modify the oil pan and extend the oil pickup.
Cleaned and disassembled the 904 trans. No surprises inside, yaaaaaa.
Trying to hustle, only 4 weeks to go. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

Does anyone know if there will be a rain date for this race? The 10 day weather outlook is pretty bleak (wet).

Someone said the "r" word. 10 days is a long time...
