As in Stan Ailton who has been in the Slanted Family as long as anyone can remember and mentioned many times in The Slanted News magazine. 😉

Good friends with Will Burns who now owns Stan's street Notchback to match his race car.

When I was stationed at Fort Eustis, VA for a school in 1991 I contacted Stan because I had read about him in the Slanted News and wanted to learn more about Slant 6s. I had recently bought my first Slant 6 car ('72 Dart Swinger).

Stan invited me over and showed me his collection of cars and models he builds. In fact, at that time he had his Notchback with an offset Shaker scoop on a Hyper Pak, the Colt sheet metal in the rafters and I think he had a '67-9 Dart convertible on a rotisserie. I don't remember if he had the wagon then or if I saw it years later when I went back for another school.

I would say that Stan is likely the most influential person that got me started on my interest of Slant 6 performance.

That's who Stan is.
