I'm sure neither the Challenger or Duster have tubes currently... Ordering the M/T slicks for the Duster (yes, my first time ever buying slicks  ) and Summit sez I gotta have 'em!

Y'all runnin' tubes in yer slicks...?

You can run them. I don't.

Pressures may be more consistent, at the expense of more rotating weight.

Aren't you supposed to put talcum powder in the tire for the slick and tube lubrication. At least with wrinkle wall slicks, I believe.

I have also heard that people use either baby powder or dish soap when they don't use tubes in order to help from leak down.

My 23x10x13 inch slicks, leak thru the side wall, and there are no tubes available for them. I used Dawn dish soap on the inside. It helped, but didn't cure the problem. At least they don't go flat overnight. My 7x26x15 have tubes. Use talcum/baby powder, when using tubes. It lets the tube and tire slide, and prevents the tube from getting pinched.

Heavy high horsepower cars and stick cars like tubes. That pretty much leaves most of us out.

Because they beat the crap out of the sidewalls, especially if it's a heavy car.
