I'm sure neither the Challenger or Duster have tubes currently... Ordering the M/T slicks for the Duster (yes, my first time ever buying slicks ) and Summit sez I gotta have 'em! Y'all runnin' tubes in yer slicks...? |

You can run them. I don't. Pressures may be more consistent, at the expense of more rotating weight. Greg |

Aren't you supposed to put talcum powder in the tire for the slick and tube lubrication. At least with wrinkle wall slicks, I believe. -Matt |

I have also heard that people use either baby powder or dish soap when they don't use tubes in order to help from leak down. |

My 23x10x13 inch slicks, leak thru the side wall, and there are no tubes available for them. I used Dawn dish soap on the inside. It helped, but didn't cure the problem. At least they don't go flat overnight. My 7x26x15 have tubes. Use talcum/baby powder, when using tubes. It lets the tube and tire slide, and prevents the tube from getting pinched. |

Heavy high horsepower cars and stick cars like tubes. That pretty much leaves most of us out. |

Because they beat the crap out of the sidewalls, especially if it's a heavy car. |
