Note that almost none of the cam companies used LSAs less than 108 for a Slant. I was pretty sure the MP 0.528" was 108 LSA, but I guess I am remembering incorrectly. Sounds like Rick said the Erson 282 is 110 LSA, from his post above. If Charlie wants to use one of these cams he has in stock, then it sounds like the Erson is the way to go.

I have both those cams in stock. Based on Rick's experience (and mine) with a lobe failure on the MP cam, I think I will go with the Erson.
The Erson cam Rick is referring to, is not the same cam I have. Plugging the timing events on the cam card, into a online calculator, says my Erson has a LSA of 106.

Looks like 107 for 225 with 1.7 valves and

113 for 170 engine.

Ed has got it. That is how I have been picking my LSA. Yes, the 170 wants a lot more LSA than a 225, and I had forgotten it was that much more. A 198 would want around 110 LSA.
