Thanks y'all fer puttin' up some good ideers fer me to look at fer the next few days 'til the race... That's all...

Seriously though, this will help me try to get a little more organized than usual.

I'm having to adjust my personal expectations for Clay City and admit that I'm only human (almost) and simply can't do as much as I think I can.

Race coordinator comes first.
Racing my own junk comes third.

There's something else in second, but I can't remember what it is...

Zip ties! You can never have enough zip ties!

Bungie cords
sunglasses (for when the sun is right in your face on the starting line 8) )
Food
Drinks

As the race coordinator I've also added a couple more things:
Race Banners
T-shirts
Number chips (for drawing the ladder)
Pre-printed Ladder sheets
Notebook
pens/pencils/highlighters/sharpies
Computer
painters tape
Trophy(ies)
A Big Fat Wad of Cash!
(I'll have Cookie as my body guard... )

Yeah, tons of zip ties. One time a little kid started counting them under the hood of my turbo car. It think he quit when he got to around 50.

Along with deck screws and the Slant 6, zip ties are high on the list of greatest inventions of the 20th century.

Anyone have unwanted 9" front drum parts for A Body they want to get rid of? I'm bringing some gaskets, Late A Body Hooker Super Comp Headers, A body SS leaf springs, some Clifford Long tube headers, and some other stuff all for sale. If someone wants the race cars and trailers they can be for sale as well :D

I would like a couple gaskets. What 9” brake parts are you in need of?

I might be a player on a set of headers.

I got all crazy and packed up a toolbox after I got home from work last night.

Yes, my neighbors know I'm nuts.

The elderly lady across the street was mystified when I backed my trailer into my driveway last weekend. She thought it was the coolest thing.

I quit fiddling with the Duster last night to shift gears to "packing"... I printed the list here with my own additions to use as a checklist. Now I just need to follow it...
