Sorry I never posted the part numbers that we used to fix the truck up and get it running. Andrew has been driving it ever since we fixed it without issue.

Parts came from Summit.

Flywheel. 50-3409 $79.97 Will need one hole drilled for the slant crank.
Clutch/PP Kit MU1647-1 $133.97

I got a call from another member here that is out in Montana, and he has the same flywheel set up that we did! So there were at least 2 of them! His was an 85 W100 also.

Is that the 11" clutch?

And was the pp 3 fingers or a diaphgram style?

No that was converting to a standard 10 1/2" flywheel. B&B pressure plate I think

I just pulled the trans and clutch from my 84 w100 and it is the same as the one pictured. We thought that yours was not original but it must be.

I had the same problem, and I found a post here by a fellow in Pennsylvania with the exact same problem.

Here's the solution (per Pennsylvania):

1. Since there are no aftermarket flywheels for the 225, you must use 130 tooth, 10 1/2" for the 318.

2. Five of the crank mount holes lie up perfectly; the sixth off by a bit and must be redrilled.

3. Use the old flywheel as a guide. Bolt the flywheels together using the crank mount holes.

4. I used a transfer punch and a center drill to avoid wander.

5. Bolted the flyweels together again to use the old hole as a DRILL guide.

6. I made a plug for the old hole, but it's not necessary.

7. There are two types of flywheels: . diaphragm type or B&B. Your choice.

Works great!

Sorry, I don'thave any numbers. I can't find my notes (big surprise!) Fly about &75, B&B Clutch $100.

That's what Rick Covalt did. I took a much more difficult path and converted mine to a 727 torqueflite.  :o :o :D :D
