trans has a shift kit and lokar hardware on a custom set up that has probably been done before, 4bbl and long tubes. it shifts but always shifts hard, so hard it busted the bell housing its getting welded no but don't want to repeat that again :cry:

Wow busted the bellhousing!! Thats a first. I think something else has happened to cause that.

Did you have the long triangular reinforcing brace that bolts up to drivre's side of block and bell-housing in place when this happened? Or, has it been removed for header routing?
