Hello, would any know where I can get a torque converter for my 1966 Dodge Coronet. I just rebuilt the Slant Six and long story short the converter I have is wrong. My core is long gone. I need the 1:51 pilot. I can find the 1.80 pilot everywhere.

I gave A&A transmission in Mooresville IN a ‘67 904 and torque converter just so it would not end up getting crushed, they said it would go up on the shelf as occasionally they get calls for them.
Give A&A or other MOPAR tranny specialists a call.

First, what do You mean by "core"? Did You purchase the current converter and turn the OE one in for it? If so, I'd take that one & have them exchange it for the correct one, We know they have at least
one core to reman., right? Lol. That aside, are the engine & trans both still the OE's from Your Coronet? I'm sure there are a number of members with one here, unless Your heart is set on a reman.......

I bought a reman at AutoZone last December and turned in my oe for the core charge. I tried to use the one I bought last week not knowing there are 2 different pilot sizes. AutoZones is the bigger later model size. They cannot get the correct tc, so buyer beware AutoZones inventory info is wrong. The supplier doesn’t seem to be any help. That being said, my core is long gone.
At this point I’d consider new, reman or used.

Where are you located? I should have a good used early TC. I'll look later today. They do fit in a USPS Large Priority Flat Rate box.
