Hi folks,

I just replaced my shifter shaft seal and was replacing the throttle pressure kick down seal I got the old one out and wasn't paying attention to how it was in. Does anyone know if the whole seal gets pushed down inside the lip or does the upper part of the seal test on top under the washer. I believe the whole thing goes down inside but don't want to push it in before I'm sure.

Can't find a pic anywhere, there are a few how to articles but no pics of the way the seal sits installed. I set it all the way in it seems to fit ok but there is up and down play of shaft after c clip installed. Maybe normal but have nothing to compare it to. Gotta install trans. To keep project moving...
