This swap is in a 1963 Dart. Do I need to pick up a different rear trans mount than the one for the '63 push button trans?
Thanks guys.

If the mount is still in your stock X-member, I am pretty sure you do not need to change anything. The mount only changes for the different year car's X-member, the A-body 904s (maybe all?) have the mount in the same place throughout the years.

If you are not using a 68 up engine/crank, this swap will not work, without a special converter.
But the mount is the same.

Isn't there a problem when going from a cable shifter to a linkage trans?

I am using an aftermarket shifter.

Then everything should be a "bolt in", except for driveshaft. There are some driveshafts that will swap right in, but i'm not sure which year/model can be used. Also rear end used will affect which driveshaft is required.
PS: speedo cable will need to be changed to one for a 66 "A" body.

I will have to have a driveshaft fabbed up or at least modified since I am using a 9" Ford rear end.
