Post subject:  Motor Mile and Mason-Dixon points

Here are the points from the Mason-Dixon (Boonsboro, MD) and Motor Mile (Fairlawn, VA) races.

Jack Everhardt Jr. won Mason Dixon with Greg Ondayko runner up and Lou Madsen third.

Day 1 of Motor Mile was won by Rob Simmons with Ryan Covalt runner up and Jack Everhardt III in third.

Day 2 of Motor Mile was won by Rick Covalt with Jack Everhardt III runner up and Rob Simmons third.

I added it both ways just for Rick.

I just noticed that I mistakenly put one round on there for Scott Jones and Mike Keller. They didn't get to run each other, so they shouldn't be counted as having lost a round. That will mess up their overall Performance Index. I'll go back and fix that.

I'm really hoping we will see some Killer Bee round wins starting this weekend.

Sure hope somebody at the Woodburn race earned 125 points or it is going to be another depressing Monday!

Mark's just mad 'cuz I won his money at Mo-Kan. He wuz hopin' one of his own folks woulda kept it local. He'll have a chance to get it back at Clay City. :D
(Until then I'll just have to withstand the abuse... )

Post subject:  Woodburn Results

There were 5 Killer Bees swarming around Woodburn, OR last weekend. They had too many classes at the event to allow for a Slant 6 class, so our guys joined with their usual group of Flatheads and Inliners. The Woodburn race is a very cool event with a very nostalgic feel to it. The Inliners are a great group of folks too. So, our guys had fun and collected attendance points again this weekend. Here are the points for the event.

Here are the updated National points adding in the Woodburn event. Next up on the calendar 20-21 July we will have all sorts of racing going on! There is another one day event at Woodburn, OR and the Wilkesboro, NC race. The Wilkesboro race will be a two day event and will also include the Mason-Dixon rain out, for a total of three races that weekend!

If someone shows up at Wilkesboro and wins all three events they could take the points lead and put that Jabber Mouth Poser back in his place! It's only about 900 miles or 14 hours for Team Green to make that happen.

Here are the updated points:

Post subject:  Re: 2018 Run for the Championship!!!!

It's Monday CST and no change with Rob at the top of the points.
We didn't try to hard at the Mo-Kan race to beat Rob, we were thinking if he won Mo-Kan he would be fired up for Clay City. If we put him on the trailer early he might not promote Clay City like it needs to be promoted. By the way, Rob has done a great job promoting Clay City. We figured the next race would knock him out of first place, but the Covalts must have been thinking the same thing about letting Rob win.
Please put Rob out in the first round at the next race as we close enough to Clay City that it should be big even Rob loses the lead.

Rick I don't think becoming a pill popper is something that should be encouraged on this site.
We will hopefully have the problem taken care of by the end of the season.

I really appreciate everyone letting me win so far. You all are very gracious hosts. Ron Hamby is hosting the next race and he's one of the most gracious people I know, so I'm hoping he will follow y'all's example and let me win there too. I will return the favor when I host the big Clay City race in September.

Since some of us are helping you this year and you have a water sports related injury maybe you should stay home from the next couple of races and get to feeling better. We really do want you to get well. It's just a points race or two that you would miss.

I followed Mark's advice and took it easy this weekend by letting everyone else win...

Ryan Covalt was almost unbeatable! I'll come back and add some more commentary later today.

Here are the points for the weekend along with the updated leader board. I added Ryan and Lou's 20 record points as well.

Me too! I let Ryan beat me in the first round. I didn't want him to get discouraged and quit racing!

The only thing I found all weekend was the red light! It was working great. :( :(
