Hi Guys,
First off thanks so much for all the info, I have been lurking and reading and reading........
My project is a very nice 85 custom 100 pickup. I love the truck but it just isn't dependable. So I have decided to put in an MS2. I am going to start with a GM TBI and have just spent the last week building an adapter to mount the TBI in place of the original 1 barrel. As soon as I get it running I would like to move to a Ford edis-6. From what I have read it seems like a good way to go.
I am not a racer, I just am looking for dependable always starts and never stalls sort of transportation. Down the road I could see multi port and a set of headers, though.
I am sure I will need a lot of advice, I have done a lot of engine work and I used to own a metal fab business but the computer aspects of the project are a bit daunting.
Thanks, Bob Pekny

Hey Bob!

Welcome to the Forum and the Slanted Family!

You mention reliability... Does the truck have the Lean Burn system still installed? If so, you may want to consider replacing that first to improve reliability.

I'm sure others will chime in with better, more thorough advice.

I'll be moving to the Fort Knox area in August. Maybe we can meet up at some point and "talk Slant". :D

Hi Rob,
Yes, the truck does still have lean burn and I plan on replacing it very soon.
Bob
