Which fuse on a '67 dart is for the horn, and what fuse size for the main power to the horns if I use two horn setup?

The guy(s) who owned the car before me did alot of splicing and changing under the dash, wires are going every which way. Didn't have any horn when I got it...

1967 Dart horn circuit uses a relay. When horn ring is depressed relay signal circuit (black wire) is grounded activating the horn relay mounted adjacent to the horns at passenger’s end of front upper cross member; look for violet conductor feed from alternator to relay and green conductor w/red tracer from relay to horns).

To run two horns, just splice a jumper on hot lead (green w/r) on first horn, and connect to second horn.

I’ll attach a photo later of my duel horn setup once my camera gets recharged.

Camera is working, honeydo's completed, SSS long completed, as promised images of horn placement, and conductor layout:

I substituted a blue conductor for factory violet to power horn from alternator, black signal wire from horn rim is wire tied to blue conductor; both terminate at horn relay:

Hard to see top horn feed by green conductor from relay, and has jumper from it to feed to lower horn. Bolting horn to body of car provides ground to circuit:

Pics are appreciated, as to color codes for wires, there are currently no horns or wires for that matter...also they have an aftermarket steering wheel in there, so who knows what I'll find inside there...I need to know from which terminal of the alternator to run a wire.

You don't happen to have the page that shows where the black tracer wire goes through the steering wheel and fuse box do you?

the relay is still there, but the terminals are labeled 1, 3 and 5. I know 3 is for the load, but the output is either 1 or 5, anybody know which it is?

The relay is a standard motor products HR-135. I've never seen a relay with "1, 3, 5" as the blade numbering scheme, it's usually 30/85/87 or "B" for battery, "L" for load, and "S" for switch or something like that.....

The mounting flange is ground. Run a clip lead to it and another to the other terminals and see which one activates the relay (I would try the middle one first, but I could be wrong). The other two terminals are +12 Volts in and +12 Volts to the horn (or horns). It doesn't matter which is which.
When you bolt or screw the relay to the body sheet metal, be sure to have nice clean metal-to-metal contact and a little grease between the flange and body sheet metal to keep moisture out.
Use inside toothed lock washers. Ground the mounting flanges of the horn the same way.

I wired my horns and relay, touched the final wire to ground and Voila! My horns are working. Now I just have to figure out the wiring in the steering wheel, shouldn't be too bad from here...there isn't much to a '67 steering column. It's only that the previous owner(s) were very "creative" when it came to tapping into power sources, changing things, rerouting wires etc. I've cleaned most of it up over the past two years, but there's still a couple questionable wiring issues under the dash. Maybe today is the day to deal with those....

The horns are working! The black wire with the white tracer to the horn button was intact. Only had to hook up my new wire from the relay and clean the spring loaded contact and copper surface where it rolls over.

It's like a new life breathed into my dart, it can talk now.

Be careful working with the steering column. There is live 12 v batt in there. I have seen a sheet metal screw pierce that wire and burn up the harness. The fusible link is supposed to go first, but those get bipassed sometimes.

Can you tell me which wires you connected to the "1" "3" and "5" terminals? I bought this HR-135 relay for my '66 Dart and the terminals appear different/different locations from the original. Last piece after replacing the turn signal and brake light switches...
