I'm running a 6a box on a points distributor. Looking to upgrade. Wanted to know if there is a plug and play msd distributor. Or instructions on the electric conversation

Get rid of the points (yuck) and the MSD (yuck); do the HEI upgrade.

I would trigger the MSD with a factory electronic ignition distributor. Be sure you get one with a suitable advance curve or be prepared to modify it yourself.

Like joshie225 said. I am running a MSD6A box and it works well with the stock electronic ignition distributor.

MSD has a copy of the instructions online, bottom of page 16 if you have the original instruction manual.

You're "factory" distributor with points would work with an MSD box but points do not work as well as the electronic ignition distributor. This is what one looks like.

Notice how there is one wire connector with two contacts. This is for the magnetic pickup on the electronic distributor. If you can afford one get a electronic distributor.
If you are just looking to hook everything up to get it working click the link DusterIdiot posted and scroll down to page 10. It gives both ways of connection an MSD box with or without points.

Page 16 has the diagram for the actual Chrysler EI connection with correct color orientation so he doesn't get the pickup reversed and have other fun problems.... if he uses one with an aftermarket pickup or one that is a reman the pickup wires will be white and block like the picture posted, not orange and black...
