There is no direct link between candlepower (cp) and wattage. It's like asking "Is 32 degrees Fahrenheit close to two quarts?". Er...you sound like you're hedging and tapdancing around the question you really want to ask. I'm guessing you might be trying to figure out what kind of an LED bulb to put in instead of the specified bulb, but there's no reason for me to be guessing when you could just, y'know, cough it up.

No, I cannot locate a 1004 bulb, only ones available where I am seem to be 15 CP. |

1004 bulbs are (still) standard parts store items, but if you can't get it locally, get it here. There is no such bulb type as "15cp". That describes an amount of light put out by a bulb. There are lots of different bulb types that produce that amount of light, but the one that will fit and work correctly is the № 1004. |
