On a '67 dart, the left hand knob on the dash cluster is the light switch. There is a hole to the right of that, the 4-way flasher. Then there is a hole to the right of that, obviously where a switch goes. What is that used for typically? I'm going to use it for the windshield wiper squirters, but just curious. I thought in some cases it was used for convertible tops, but mine is a hardtop, so why do I have the hole?

That third hole on my Dart is holding the convertible top motor switch. Perhaps someone swapped out that dash for some unknown reason (radio hack job), or drilled that hole to add a switch to operate some aftermarket device; say an ejection seat.

Your car was a ssembled on the Monday morning shift? Or the day after St. Patrick's Day? Or on January 1? Or the assembly line dash installation guy was feeling salty that day?

It is a factory hole from all accounts...hey, what is the thread pitch of those threaded holes, dash switches, anyone know that?
