I have an 82 D150 6 cylinder pickup the problem is the turn signals quit working, I assumed the flasher was bad and replaced it, no change. the bulbs are all good but flicker when the switch is in the blinker position, both sides. the headlight on the passenger side also flickers, any ideas on where to look? does this indicate a ground problem?

Is this problem front, rear, or both ends?

I would look for a bad connection that feeds the switch where both sides are acting up; probably in multi connector that connects turn signal switch to main harness part way down steering column or between said connector and fuse block. Sometimes one of the several brass connectors won't fully seat in its mate.

I once had problem with backup lights not working, discovered it was a bad crimp in one of the sub harness brass connectors... Took 40 years for it to act up, who knew.

it is both sides front and rear, for a long while I could signal by moving the lever up and down, that no longer works and the turn signal indicator stays lit all of the time on one side I am going to replace the switch as soon as I locate one

Typically on old mopars if the dash indicator lights solid, it means the front or rear bulb in that signal circuit is dead and needs to
be replaced. Another issue to consider, is if the indicator relay box is still in good shape and functioning.
