The windshield wipers on my '66 Dart are not turning on. I traced the problem to the circuit breaker in the wiper switch. NOS replacement, or even rebuilt wiper switches are going for enough money that I think I'll take a shot at fixing the switch myself first. But the factory service manual does not give an actual current specification for the circuit breaker - does anyone know what current it's rated for?

What I would do is measure the current draw of the motor, on a dry windshield (more load than wet) then use an inline breaker 10-20 percent higher. If the wipers encounter ice/snow they it will draw more, but you want the breaker to trip if the wipers are frozen.
