Does anyone here run boost (preferably turbo) and nitrous at the same time? I have about how it supposedly is miraculous at low rpms (pre-full spool) and was just curious if anyone ran it, and how much of each. Currently a cast crank resides in my dart, but I am picking up a free forged crank ('73?) motor in about a week that I would like to do a streetable turbo setup on, and if I could, nitrous. Thoughts anyone?

Have not done it but have heard about success on the launch...maybe a 25-50 shot on a /6. I can foot brake to 8psi before I can no longer hold the car. Full boost is in very quickly...before 60ft

With a fast spooling turbo and some controls it may not be necessary however those with monster turbos may need it to help the spool at launch.

Alright, thank you! Since the build that I am tossing around in my head will probably utilize a t4 or a t3/t4 hybrid, something common and cheap, and probably won't use the nitrous unless I just do it for fun... (insert evil laugh here)

I'm pretty sure turboram was running nitrous from the dig to help spool?

Your correct. Turbo ram used nos to spool because he had a lock up trans. But his fastest time was a 11.50 spraying the full 1/4 mile with a blown head gasket. Id like to try it when I launch. Sound like a fun time.

That's what I was thinking! I was thinking like a t04 running 15psi and a 50 shot would be a blast  I think it would be interesting to say the least

Was told 11.50 full nos pass blown headgasket by him in person at mason dixon race in 2010.
