ok guys after much thought I sent my engine to the machine shop for a complete overhaul new pistons, valve job the works, I will be getting forges pistons and boring the cylinder .30 over and shaving the deck to raise compression..to be honest I am a bonehead and didn't do much research I will be getting a turbo in 1 year after the shops warranty runs out on the engine right now the cam will be a mild cam with .435 lift and everything else is stock except for the pistons that will be forged.. what else do I need to do for the engine and heads aside from the carb and outside parts??? help help s.o.s

I see you say your shaving it to raise compression. Be careful how much you raise compression if your looking at putting a turbo on it in the future.
