What have you done about the coating on the rotors getting eaten by fuel? That's awesome BTW! |

That is freaking awesome. I wish I knew more about forced induction. |

Besides mounting the blower and new carb, what else was done to the engine? What was done to the carb? Did you really mount that setup on the factory aluminum one barrel intake? Did you modify the intake at all? We want details! And a burnout video! |

I stripped all the emissions from the engine, run the exhaust through a flowmaster muffler, changed the plugs and oil, mounted it directly to the one barrel intake, the holley 500 was right out of the box, tuned a little and runs well, since there is not boost bypass I have the idle mixture a little rich . I will see what I can do for a video. the lower plate is machined with a large opening to improve flow, and the rear of the outlet has been ported a little. I have less than $450 into the blower project. future plans are a new ignition, headers and a clifford intake. |

Dang, I might have to give this a try at some future date. Stock distributor? Stock timing curve? Stock cam? What was the original application of the supercharger? Is it an Eaton M90? I am assuming you are not runing a vacuum advance system on your distributor? |

stock distributor, I run the timing a little retarded. the blower is a eaton m90 from a thunderbird. |

Very nice... Fwiw..ive done a few eaton draw through setups..no sealed rear bearings..coating disolves after a while..but it doesnt seem to matter..i ran my last blown geo on e85 from anywhere between 12-18lbs boost for over 10k miles..with e85..the blower and intake would frost up on hard pulls! Boost is great..my latest slant will be a remote mounted m90 blowing through cv's..ill post a thread as it develops. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjowHtO4 ... ata_player |

Welcome to the site, and very cool project. Nice to see another tight M90 project out there. Al Toews in Calgary, AB has another nice setup with EFI. Best, Lou |

I am very interested I this setup. I may change direction with the motor I am planning to build for my brother's Duster and make it an MPFI supercharged system. |

That is cool, but not as cool as a blown slant. My brother agrees- we are definitely going to pursue a supercharger for his Duster. I just need to teach myself how supercharging affects things like timing curves and fuel mixture parameters. Then I need to get the pieces and machine and assemble it all. On as cheap a budget as possible! |
