Can I leave a nos tank in the back of my station wagon in the summer sun ??
Tank would have a tank blanket on it not in direct sun and windows will have light or medium tint ...
I would have a blow down tube on it ....
Thanks

Not really a good idea. If the burst disc fails to rupture you could have a bad day. When I was spraying my Valiant I really had to be careful because the tank would build pressure pretty quickly in a closed trunk.

I'm with Slantzilla, on this. During the summer, I keep a wet towel in the car, and put it over the tank, if the pressure gets over about 1050 lbs. I had a safety disk rupture on a tank, in the back of my pickup, on the way to a race.

On a ten lb bottle, it doesn't make any difference if there are 10 lbs in the bottle or 1 lb in the bottle, the pressure will be the same at the same temp.

The only thing that will make a difference is, if the bottle is over full, it will burst easier, as there will be no "head" space, and will hydrolic.
