Hi there! Greetings from Argentina. Its been a while since my last visit here... nice to see your slants setups!

Being a Slant fan... my slant is running strong and nice now... ported head.. bigger valves.. headers.. 4bbl holley double pumper 390cfm... 275/285 cam... but i want more...

I have a flowmeter and work on heads and intakes a lot here... and most my friends have v8´s... ported... cammed... its becoming difficult to catch up with them! Building a v8 its not an option for me... So.. I want more from the slant...

I´m aiming for 400hp at the flywheel. Some people say no way... some people say... maybe. Car MUST be street driven. What do you say?

I have bought a FUEL TECH FT500 computer, with Boost Control. Secuencial fuel and timing control.
I plan on buying a MasterPower Super 70 R595 .63 A/R
I have 3D desing a custom intake plenum type for 1 fuel ramp and 1 methanol ramp... working perfectly 272/275 cfm at each runner. I have desing and built on my 3D printer... now that it pass the flowmeter flawlessly I´m going to build it in aluminium for my clients here but they are not going turbo... al least not yet.

What do you think?

Another question for turbo slanters... Do the 3/8 head bolts work with turbo setups +10psi? or have you switched to 1/2"?

Very interesting. The intake, to be cast alum? The Intake slant to the left, does that complicate matters for intercooler plumbing vs say to the right? Or is an intercooler in the cards for 400hp.

And nice ride, I like, it looks tough!

Very nice, be sure to trial the intake manifold with an exhaust, to verify that all the manifold mounting studs/nuts are accessable.
What is the purpose of the round bosses on toward the trail end of the manifold?
Continue to post on your progress 😀

Probably for various sensors and vacuum line hookup.

I love the intake! Maybe I can get on the list for one after you do some testing... Love the car too.

400 HP at the flywheel is possible. I have made about that much (380 HP?) on 11 PSI with a 60 mm turbo and a 175,000 mile bottom end, with a well ported head and MP-EFI driven by Megasquirt I on an Offy intake with small TB (55 mm?). I have a locked dist and MSD programmable 6AL-II for ignition. I have stock size (7/16") head studs - standard ARP kit. 8.6:1 comp. Driven across the country a couple of times. No intercooler and AEM meth/water injection. Blew one head gasket before the meth/H2O inj and never since, which was about 15k miles ago and 100 drag passes and lots of street beating. Using Aussie Endurotec/Permaseal 3.66" bore gasket.

I am shooting for a reliable 450 HP in my next engine iteration, with improved induction, MSIII ECU/tuning, and a fresh bottom end.

Lou

I think that your manifold is right on. I hid all my tapped bosses on the back near the fire wall.

Hi all!!!! Chymail is one of my Mopar budies down here in Argentina, we go back to early 1999 and we have been friends ever since. Great guy!!!!

Im really exited about this intake since Im also on a very similar plan for my slant six and Im waiting on this intake to move forward on my proyect.

Please include any suggestion or mods on your post so everithing is addressed before going into the foundry!!!! Though I think Chymail is spot on about the desing!!!! I really do!!! Double injector ramp, same flowing through all the runner, provisions for sensors, trouttle cable bracket... you name it!!!!

Im relly impressed about his effort in this!!!!

Maybe an administrator might move this post to EFI section and change the name to anything around EFI MANIFOLD or something ....

Thank you for your replies and especially for sharing your results!

Intake is going to be cast alum... Im starting to build the mold (because of shrink) and core.

jcc:

The intake faces to the left... It has to connect to an air to air intercooler in my case. Thanks for the comment on my ride!

DadTruck:

That was one of the purpuose I build the prototype. Flowmeter testing and fitting. Stud and nuts are accessable... but thight. I will make more room in the mold

Round bosses are for sensors and pressure hookup. Im using Fuel Tech Ft500 that was MAP integrated at the computer and Boost Controller that works the same way. IAT also.

Dart270:

Thanks for sharing numbers! I was watching the other day in youtube slant six dragging... was you one of them?

Will:

Thanks! I thought about hiding sensors. But I want to leave space for the turbo.

Polara1974 is getting the intake with the serial number 00002.... what he is not getting is to see the front of my car in the dragstrip... well... maybe in boxes...

Today I placed the throttle body...

Is this manifold something you plan to offer for sale?

He will. First cast intake will ve his own, second mine.... And then whoever wants one need to contact Chimail. Just wait and be patience until the first two comes alive and we work as test mules.

Might I make a suggestion, when it comes to the machine work?
For any holes in the manifold, ,if a manifold is going to the U.S., you might want to just drill a pilot and ship the manifold out to the customer. This way, the final hole machining can be performed using U.S./SAE threads for fittings and sensors available here, rather than having to source metric fittings or sensors.

It will be for sale once its bulletproof! But I still have to deal with casting

GTS225.

Sure no problem. But I think all sensors are NPT
